Karen,

On the strength of your review and a little "surfing" I did
afterwards, I ran into a bookstore today with my barefoot
baby and grabbed the only copy of *Reading Reflex* they had
on the shelf. :-)

I have worked off and on with my now-6yo girl for well over
a year, and she just isn't "getting it" on reading, though
she's plowing through Horizons 2 math just fine. My first
daughter also read somewhat late for such a verbal child
and "writes" (composes) best orally, with a real flair, so
I suspect we have a similar situation here.

I'm hoping *RR* is just what Betsy and I need to get her
reading well. She's such a "wonder-ful" child I can't wait
until she can discover all these things for herself!
