Thanks for that wonderful review! Although Reading Reflex takes a different approach to teaching reading, I think it needs to be emphasized that it is *phonetics*, and does not skimp on reading instruction. I've heard from a couple of people who have only glanced through the program who think that it is not a complete program, but in my opinion only one who has actually used these methods hands-on can fully understand the logic behind it.

I hope that RR is helpful to you and your daughter. We used Alphaphonics with our oldest with little problem, but with the next child down I knew he would something more explicit in method. Thankfully, I can tell you that my 6 yr. old son is sounding out every three-letter word he can find in his books, and we are enjoying tangible results from just using these methods over a 5 week period of time.
