	Sounds very interesting. I love detailed reviews as you have given. For what it's worth, though, not all phonics programs advocate the word family approach. I read a book by Paula Carlson when I was first researching home schooling (about 12-13 years ago) and she warned of the same dangers you have, so we didn't use a phonics program that advocated that methodology. I think I'll check Reading Reflex out. We certainly can use the help in spelling. Thanks for the time you took to write your review. Patti
