    > Is anyone using or familiar with the Singapore Math series? I understand Singapore's fourth and eighth grade students rank number one in the world for their mathematical abilities. I am thinking about putting my sixth grade daughter into something different than Saxon and thought about the Singapore program. I am also considering Scott Foresman or Houghton Mifflin's Structure and Method. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Debby,

We use and love Singapore Math, and now there's a support loop for other homeschoolers who are using it. If you haven't yet, please send Jeffery Thomas an email asking for the list of topics taught. One word of caution: Singapore Math is quite advanced so you'll want to inquire about the topics covered one half to one whole grade level down from where your daughter is right now.

Feel free to send me a note with further questions if you
like.

Pax, Angela
