> Dear Angela, What is this support loop of which you speak? I am very interested in Singapore Math. I have a dd 8 who will be finishing up her Miquon (plus calculadder, and supp w/S.F.) this year --3rd. We are doing SF4 concurrently with Miquon. I have been waffling over what to do next year. I want to keep the stakes high for her. We have loved Miquon. I puts kids about a year ahead, in my experience, so if I went w/a textbook, we would be doing SF5 or Saxon 65. Frankly, saxon just seems BOOOOORINNG. Anyway, I e-mailed Family things asking about placement, but I would be interested in any more info that you have: topics, how others are using it, people to contact, etc. I understand that it does a lot with mental math, but again, I would love more details...there just don't seem to be very many resources out there that detail very much. Anything you could tell me would be very helpful. If you need to e-mail me privately, that is fine. > > Thanks so much, Kayleen in S. CA Hello, I tried to send you a note but it was returned. Why don't you mail me privately and we can address your questions off the boards? Thanks, Angela Polk MentalMath moderator zoomom@intelos.net homeschooling mom of four |
