> > Melissa, We used Covenant Home curriculum for probably 5 years for three of our children. I believe it is a good curriculum for several reasons: They hire experts who search for the best curriculum avaliable. Not all of publishers are Christian, however if there are exercises that are questionable, they are made known to you in advance. They have a sound philosophy of education which positively influences the curriculum and teacher aids that have been developed. During the 4 years of jr. high and high school, we used a grade auditor. Even though I have a background in education I benefitted greatly from our auditor's comments and encouragement. The office staff were very helpful if I had a question or concern. We did order the school planners and I liked them very much because it helped myself and our children to manage their studies. We have gone with ABEKA video simply because three of our children are in high school and are taking classes such as Spanish and Physics. We believed they needed the direct teaching of an expert in the area of study. If you have specific questions, feel free to E-mail. In Christ, Marcia |
